The Moto Guzzi Owners Association of NSW is a club devoted to lovers of the exotic and noble Italian motorcycle marque - Moto Guzzi.
The club is based in Sydney, Australia, and has a membership base throughout the state of New South Wales.
The MGOA organises a variety of events throughout the year, including day rides, weekend trips and rallies.
The club also provides owners with support and information about the marque.
Membership is open to all motorcycle enthusiasts with an interest in Moto Guzzis.
About MGOA NSW:
The first "official" meeting of the MGOA was held in February 1980, following the inaugural run of the fledgling club. The first AGM took place on May 20th. At that meeting a constitution was adopted by the 29 founding members, many of whom are still in the club today.
With the average membership under 100 people, the club has never been large, but it more than makes up for this in enthusiasm. As followers of an exotic marque of Italian motorcycle, members show a great deal of mutual support when it comes to technical or other information.
What the Club does - Members meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm at the
Friend In Hand Hotel, 58 Cowper St, Glebe.
Every second month the club has a social sip at various venues. There is a club run or social event every month, plus we attend rallies and organize weekend runs.
The
MGOAs Ragged Fringe Rally is a yearly event, held on the 2nd weekend in September. Other events include Pub runs and a Christmas party.
There is a quarterly newsletter "Falcone" which keeps everyone informed of what's on and also contains technical information and other articles.
Membership - is open to all persons of good character who are interested in Moto Guzzis and in fostering and maintaining Moto Guzzi ownership. You do not have to own a Guzzi to join!
